The Avocado has used since ancient times for the local treatment of infected or not infected wounds by the population empirically based on histories and experiences of previons generations. Our work team decided to study actions of avocado and determine its real therapeutic actions for reassuring or refusing properties that have been extender exterded though one person to another. One of the stages of this research consisted of checking the bactericidal effect in vitro . So as to perform the study we decided to use the method of the neutralization -dilution proposed by AFNOR Norms of France. For the double blind study performed, gram positive and negative, germ smears were study performed, at that moment affected burnt patients admitted in our Service. Concluding, avocado did not present bactericidal effect negative analyzed , Proteus Mirabilis and Pseudomona Aeruginosa it was demostrated the bactericidal effect of the solution used.
