A cross-sectional study to 47 burned about clinical and humoral behavior of them with the practice of the exanguineal transfusion from January 1995 to December 1997, in Caumatology service at Manuel Ascunce Domenech provincial hospital Camagüey city, was carried out clinical parameters such as: respiratory frequency, cardiac rate, temperature, diastolic blood pressure, and humoral parameters, such as: hematologic, biochemical and hemogasometric, were assessed. The exanguineal transfusion provoked significant variation of the respiratory frequency, sistolic and diastolic pressures. It was observed hypopatosemia in 17 patients posterior to the management and hematologic study showed a significant reduction in the leukogram. Results are compared with the medical literature reviewed.
