The case report of a 21 years pregnant woman, with 28 weeks of pregnancy, of rural origin and apparent good health condition, who was transferred from her health area (Songo - La Maya municipality) to "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" Teaching General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba, for presenting vomits and diarrheas, with signs of moderate dehydration is described, so that a quick test of cholera was carried out, with positive results. The patient was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit under medical and epidemiological treatment, with which she had a favorable clinical course and she was discharged from the institution 5 days later
