Resumen

A descriptive study has been conducted with the objective of analyzing the development of Nursing Master's Program. Analysis, Synthesis and Historic - Logic methods, were used during the conduction of this study. Questions to experts and the revision of documents were used with the objective of describe the development of Nursing Master's Program curriculum form it's beginning up to nowadays, taking into consideration three main indicators: The universe of professors involved in the Nursing Master's program, the universe of graduates from this Infirmary Masters Program and the stienfic production made by these graduates. The evidence of the most important facts previous to the implementation of the Nursing Masters Program and on the other hand, the positive results of the application of this academic formation, arise to the conclusions based on three main aspects : A nurse with a renewed stienfic thinking , the increment of the ingoing students, the expansion of the current academic formation scenery and the continuing process of improvement in which this formation has been tradionally involved.
