The potentialities that it offers the extension process in the Municipal University Centers by means of the process of harmonic and effective integration of the technological and investigative dimensions, conceived for the local development are the relating one theoretical of this work, when being constituted in the fundamental problem of the necessary relationship that should settle down between the university and the society. Among the documental analysis, interviews, surveys, participant observation, the current situation of this formative process is determined and he/she intends a new work dynamic that guarantees its function for the development of the town, resultant of a group of actions extensionists.
