The management of the student facilities, within the third improvement of the National Education System, constitutes a priority for the Ministry of Education's work and Students’ Organization José Martí, therefore, its research is the present work's fundamental objective. As a scientific result, it contributes the historic evolution of the emergence, development and methods of management in student scout centers, taking into account the periods of great transformations or facts that represented a significant change in the functioning of Students’ Organization José Martí. Besides, it uses as background the worldwide scout movement and the one that took place in Cuba before 1959.
