This article proposes a methodology for the formation of integrative professional competence of Pediatric residents in which the pediatric interactive formative method and the activities for its application based on virtual learning combined with face-to-face learning are addressed. A pre-experimental, observational, cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample of 26 Pediatric residents of the Holguín Pediatric Hospital. The methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, document review, Wilcoxon signed-rank test and direct observation in the field were used. The study concludes by evaluating the significant improvements in the performance of Pediatric residents in comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
