The present paper presents an economic and financial evaluation of the process of obtaining the collagen matrices that must be used in the restoration of the tissues of the human body. The objective is to demonstrate the feasibility of investing in such a process, taking into account the indicators established for this. The research methods, techniques and tools applied were: documentary review, non-standardized interview, Pareto chart, synoptic diagram of the Operations and Inspections Process (OPERIN), quality function deployment (QFD), brainstorming, among others. As a main result of the economic-financial evaluation carried out, the definition of a new procedure was enunciated, which was described by the Operation Inspection Diagram (OPERIN) technique and it was also demonstrated that it is feasible to obtain collagen matrices, determining that the term of recovery of the investment is 9 months.
