The world of education, and specifically teacher training, currently faces the challenge of adapting to new contexts and learning environments. This requires offering students the tools and opportunities that allow them to develop the digital and professional skills necessary to function effectively in this digital age. In response to this challenge, research was developed through a teaching-learning experience implemented under the ECO method (Explore-Create-Offer), which is part of a competitive teaching innovation project. 71 students participated, it is of mixed quantitative-qualitative design and responds to three objectives: to describe the teaching-learning experience with a focus on new learning environments; know the perception of students about the improvement of their professional and digital competence; and assess student satisfaction with their own experience. The results show that the ECO method promoted the development of professional and digital skills to work in new learning environments, favoring high satisfaction among students and a high perception of skill improvement.
