The preparation of the teachers of the special school in the Province of Huambo, Angola was the focus of this research, a complex context in the face of the onslaught of the covid-19 pandemic. The objective pursued was to propose a strategy to prepare the teachers of the special school for the educational inclusion of schoolchildren with Down syndrome. The object of study was approached with a systemic approach, for which methods and techniques were used that were selected, elaborated and applied in compliance with the requirements of the scientific method, with the articulation of qualitative and quantitative analyses. The proposed strategy integrates methodological, training and socialization actions of good practices of educational inclusion. Positive impacts on social and educational practice are evident due to the transformations in the preparation of teachers for the inclusion of schoolchildren with Down Syndrome in such circumstances.
