The work is the result of the research project directed by the author, on "Education for citizen life in teacher training, from the contributions of Martí and Fidel", which consists of a curricular strategy to contribute to the preparation of students for pedagogical careers in the area of ​​citizen training, from an ethical, axiological and humanist approach. The objective is: to contribute to the ethical-moral training, in values, humanism and citizenship of students who study pedagogical careers, as content of the professionalism that should characterize the exercise of this profession. The methods are integrated from the dialectic-materialist, the systematization of the referents, the analytical-deductive of the conceptual elements, the system approach of the pedagogical conception of the strategy in a harmonious and coherent way and the modeling of the components that integrate it in its structure and functions. In the results, the curricular strategy elaborated with its essential foundations, actions to be developed by teachers and students and methodological orientations are presented. In the conclusions, the relevance of the citizen training curricular strategy for its practical implementation in all careers for the preparation of students as part of their educational function in the Cuban school upon graduation is reached.
