Introduction:
The quality of a process is the set of properties that allow judging its value in organisational, institutional and social accountability leading to the design of management systems conforming to the main purposes.
Objective:
To reflect on the quality of decision-making in the management of medical education.
Author's position:
The quality of decision-making in the management of medical education is the set of acts that enable the development of applicable actions in the academic organisation, aimed at solving institutional problems through positive organisational and personal transformations on the basis of planning, organising, directing and controlling interrelationships that contribute to the harmonious development of its substantive processes as part of social expectations.
Conclusions:
Decision-making in the management of medical education favours the proper conduct of academic processes, while at the same time implying a great responsibility for the training of future professionals in the Ministry of Public Health, who must ensure their assertiveness as a necessary foundation for quality.
