VIALART VIDAL, María Niurka; RODRIGUEZ DIAZ, Alfredo  y  PEREZ MATAR, Rodolfo. The challenge of digital transformation at the National School of Public Health. Infodir [online]. 2023, n.40  Epub 01-Abr-2023. ISSN 1996-3521.

Introduction:

The development of technologies has changed the way we work, study, shop, relate and communicate.

Objective:

To set out the challenges faced by the National School of Public Health in achieving digital transformation.

Author's position:

The development of information and communication technologies has revolutionized the way we work, study, interact and communicate. Ignorance, fear and the myths of digital transformation mean that many people are resistant to change and do not want to embrace this evolution, which can be the solution to many problems, so it is necessary to become part of this process in order to avoid becoming obsolete. Hence, the National School of Public Health has rethought the computerisation of its processes.

Conclusions:

The use of the proposed computerised systems is part of the new culture to be assumed in the National School of Public Health. In this important process, it is essential to create the need and demand the use of the computer applications developed by the institution, as well as to sensitise teachers and managers to the importance of digitalisation as a step towards achieving cultural and organisational change.
