HERRERA PRAT, Mario Ignacio; TOLEDO, Antonio  y  GARCIA FERNANDEZ, MiguelPelayo. Elements of administration in the use of the park of tractors. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2011, vol.20, n.1, pp. 20-24. ISSN 2071-0054.

The rational use of the tractors and their attachés in the agricultural processes is the biggest potential of fuel saving and contamination decrease. The Ministry of Higher Education dedicates 532 000 liters of diesel a year in this sphere. The appropriate administration of the tractors parks and their attachés in an entity allows an efficient administration of the tractor as an energy source. By using CeMaq software, tractors parks and their attachés are analyzed as well as the activities carried out at university and research centers. The determination of the fuel consumption indexes in activities and equipment will be fundamental for decision making regarding an efficient energy administration in this sector. In the Superior Education Ministry, fuel is distributed in three main sectors: 55% for service, 28% for cattle and 17% for agriculture. The service sector is the most important for energy management and weed elimination is its main activity.

Palabras clave : save; fuel; index; software; service.
