The Cuban Medical School should prepare the necessary scientific forces to solve the health problems of the population. However, there are insufficiencies in the formation of abilities of the future General Practitioner, which affect the proper performance in the attention to adolescents and children. The objective of this work is to elaborate a conception of the logical structure of the system of abilities of the Pediatrics subject in the formation of General Practitioners which contribute to a better attention of adolescents and children. Theoretical, empirical and statistic methods are used. It is concluded with a didactic conception, which novelty is observed within the logical interrelation between the organizational an the developing features that are expressed in the system of abilities for this subject, and the didactic principle upon which it is structured, to get a well dimensioned teaching-learning process of the pediatric medical cares.
