The distance learning with the use of Information Technologies and Communications (ITC), it is a need for the initial and continuous formation of professionals. It has been subject to discussion whether the professionals and pupils have an adequate preparation to confront this challenge or not. This generates a contradiction between the didactic principles of distance learning with the use of ITC for the professional's formation. There are checked the elements that contribute to consider the teaching formation like an articulation of factors that enable the appropriation of the resources of the digital technology for teaching. The situation referred led to the objective: analyzing the theoretical elements related to the conceptual and practical studies on distance education using ICT in the formation of professionals. The results showed thatpedagogical quality and teacher preparation with the use of ICT improve the teaching- learning process, favoring also innovative programs in educational fields.
