Resumen

In the present work, challenges and perspectives Sport were founded for professional behavior of the professors from the Career of the Sciences of the Physical Culture.  These elements have been studied thoroughly in the pedagogic environment to obtain an educational system of quality.  The solid academic formation and a high reflection capacity on the educational practice, prepare the professor to adapt their educational work to the development of scientific, technical, psychological, and pedagogic knowledge, then it guarantees a rigorous, systematic, reflexive and coherent performance in their mode of acting and professional behavior. This is why a great importance is attributed to the present study where it is necessary to start by improving the educational formation from the methodological, investigative and extension dimensions. This allows the professional to act as it is expected from him if he possesses a solid knowledge related with his personal qualities, professional possibilities and the motivation required in correspondence with the challenges and demands of the Cuban University in the current moments.
