ARIAS VILLAMAR, John Alfredo y PEZO CUNALATA, Claudia Liliana. Visual communication from the classroom to the world. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp. 290-295. Epub 02-Mar-2018. ISSN 2218-3620.
Visual communication and its focus on btl language strategies; It has a link with Information and Communication Technologies to solve visual problems. Also, this article aims to investigate this phenomenon from three points of view, first it delves into historical elements that inform about its path and evolution, then how the second element is a small sketch from creativity as an indispensable skill for this type of strategy and finally it is situated in higher education as a visual mechanism that teaches from the classrooms based on the criteria of corporate need, through case study, etc. The problem that is most perceived in the teaching - learning processes of visual communication is the limited link between creativity, academia and the real environment; the creation of brand identities, or graphic technical processes; they have divorced themselves from the relevant practice of humanizing consumer needs, from research and the construction of experience. The researchers consider that if the social reality is disconnected from the processes, be they didactic or exploratory, the impact of the teaching and learning of visual communication will be sterile. This leads us to analyze the needs in terms of linking social reality with the didactic of visual communication.
