The modification of the conditions to guarantee the continuity of the comprehensive education of adolescents, as a result of the pandemic, has shown the need to strengthen the ties between the school and the family, to accompany the academic trajectory of their children, as well as, to face the manifestations of violent interpersonal relationships that occur through cyberbullying. The present work was developed in a junior high school in Guayaquil, with the objective of analyzing how the Department of Student Counseling is linked to the families of its students, to prevent violent manifestations within the interpersonal relationships that affect them. For its development, semi-structured interviews with the families and members were used, as well as the analysis of the normative and work documents of said agency in the institution, which allowed to reveal the existence of family orientation needs to face the incidence of violent interpersonal relationships in their children, through a mixed research approach that combines qualitative methods such as logical historical, and inductive and quantitative, such as deductive.
