At present there is a special interest in discovering new bacterial species, it is necessary to have adequate bacterial preservation methods that allow future studies and preserve their phenotypic and genotypic characteristics and high viability in bacteria, as well as ensure the maintenance of the great biotechnological potential that bacteria protect in their genomes, preservation methods vary because there is no single preservative for the conservation of any type of bacteria and the best one must be identified for each one, this gives rise to the objective of this work to propose long, medium and short term preservation methods for Staphylococcus aureus. A bibliographic review of the scientific literature on the subject was carried out, the proposal made was submitted to specialists for validation, the non-parametric Chi-square test of goodness of fit (mode) was applied to know the level significance of the opinion of the specialists. The systematization, the documentary analysis for the preservation proposal and the consultation of specialists to assess the viability of the proposed method will allow its subsequent application and constant evaluation of the cultures of this microorganism to assess whether they meet the purity criteria. authenticity and stability, which will reaffirm the validity of the proposed method. The suggestions for improvements by the specialists were taken into account for the final proposal of the preservation methods of the microorganism under study.
