MEZA MONTES, Jéssica Katherine; NAVARRETE PITA, Yulexy y ZAMBRANO ACOSTA, Jimmy Manuel. System of Activities to Counteract the Emotional State of Third Year High School Students Due to COVID-19. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2023, vol.11, n.2 Epub 01-Ago-2023. ISSN 2308-0132.
A good emotional state generates a favorable performance, however, the pandemic has affected students and is reflected in their academic performance. The objective is to develop a system of activities to counteract the emotional state of students in the educational environment. The approach applied is mixed, the type of study is descriptive and the design is non-experimental. The scientific methods used allowed the researchers to get closer to the object of the study and by using the techniques and instruments, the information was collected in a more direct and precise manner. The study population consisted of 187 students and the sample was 127 from a simple random and probabilistic sampling with a confidence level of 95% and a p<0.05. The system of activities was subjected to validation by specialists and then the ANOCHI concordance index was determined between their answers. Due to the health emergency, the students have presented various difficulties such as family losses and economic problems, so the development of a system of activities helps them to balance their emotional state in order to have better academic results.
