The educational work should go directed to the formation of the new generations, in two slopes: in the patriotic formation, revolutionary and citizen and in the labor one. The program of the discipline Preparation for the Defense has among its objectives to contribute the patriotic, military education and the students' internationalist and to create in them a vision with relationship to the security and national defense and its paper in the same one. When developing the discipline in the Department of Military Teaching of the Technological University of Havana it is evidenced, starting from the experiences in the imparted classes, in exchange with professors of the department, as well as the observation of the acting of the students that you/they show little knowledge of the national and international situation being more linked to the social nets; they manifest doubts toward the necessity of the activities of the defense and their implication for their professional future. Starting from this he/she decided to carry out this work, with the objective to expose results in the employment of teaching methods, from the classes of the discipline Preparation for the Defense, to elevate the politics-ideological preparation of the students. A bigger search of information, better solution of the tasks is evidenced; bigger understanding of the paper to play, once graduate, in connection with the preparation of the country and the economy for the defense. The used teaching methods have allowed to carry out a political-ideological work that is evidenced in the results obtained in the evaluations and the quality of the presented works.
