This article proposes a reflection on the potential of the Digital Humanities as to the ways to treat, organize and disseminate the elements that constitute digitalized photo albums. To this end, the Bratislava School group's photo album was chosen, a school institution in the municipality of Cambé, which is part of the Historical Museum of Cambé, Paraná, Brazil. The study presents itself as exploratory and bibliographic. Six axes worked as the basis for the analysis of the suggested interlocutions were chosen: safeguarding, preserving the digital heritage, education, training, articulation with other scientific areas, accessibility, dissemination, and sharing of knowledge, commitment to society and organization of information. Based on the systematization of the literature in the area, it was possible to establish a parallel between the constituent elements of the photographic albums and aspects of the Digital Humanities and point out some potential factors, in addition to punctuating the Organization and Information Retrieval processes as foundations for making digital resources for access to knowledge.
