Resumen

INFANTE ESTRABAO, Francisco; FORTEZA ROJAS, Saimelyn Aileen  y  YELA BURGOS, Roger Tomás. Analysis of Scientific Production on Economic Vulnerability. Econ. y Desarrollo [online]. 2022, vol.166, n.2  Epub 15-Dic-2022. ISSN 0252-8584.

The in-depth study of the scientific production on a specific topic is crucial to know the range of theoretical formulations or research approaches necessary elements for new theoretical constructions going beyond the epistemological limits of science. In the specialized bibliography, the term economic vulnerability reveals an amplitude of definitions that fail to encompass its complexity derived from its political, social and economic origins. The purpose of this article is to offer a conceptual approach to economic vulnerability based on the study of trends and the state of research on the subject. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis was developed, based on information obtained from SciVerseScopus between 1989 and 2021. This data was tabulated by means of the biblioshiny tool of the bibliometrix package and the VosViewer software. This made it possible to provide a hybrid definition of economic vulnerability applicable to a wider range of economic contexts.

Palabras clave : bibliometric analysis; vulnerability; government..
