GUERRA LLORENS, Yunaisy et al. Anthelmintic efficacy of Labiomec® (Ivermectin 1%) in bovine herds of Camagüey Province, Cuba. Rev Salud Anim. [online]. 2014, vol.36, n.1, pp. 58-61. ISSN 0253-570X.
The aim of this work was to evaluate the anthelmintic efficacy of Labiomec® (Ivermectina 1%) in gastrointestinal nematodes of bovine herds of Camagüey province, Cuba. Twenty herds of state property were selected during the period November 2009-September 2011; 20 groups with 10 animals per herds were formed. Egg count reduction (ECR) test was performed. RESO Program 2.0 was used to calculate the efficacy and confidence intervals. In all herds evaluated, drug efficacy was higher than 97%, without diagnosing resistance presence. Nematode genera diagnosed were Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus and Bunustomun, prevailing the genus Haemonchus.
