In recent years, higher medical education has been involved in promising deep changes to achieve better results in integral training of students. Workshop class is a present time organizing way in contemporary teaching and also a challenge to achieve that its development in the new educational models of medical sciences, be a way for a maintained education of student in humanitarian value characterizing health professional. To analyze didactic and methodological features of this type of teaching activity, authors made a subject review to expose its aims inside medical sciences education, from novel pedagogical approaches, and with predominance of teaching active methods. Positive features were identified allowing to argue advantages of workshop classes in humanitarian training, and in cognitive independence of future graduates.
