A study of therapeutic intervention was conducted during the period from June 2015 to June 2016 in 29 patients who presented a need for tooth extraction at the "Ramón Guevara Montano" Stomatology Clinic in Baracoa, Guantanamo. The patients were included in the sample according to the reception order after their informed consent. The variables were used: pain, cleaning of the operative field, complications after tooth extraction and tissue repair. The clinical evolution of the patients was satisfactory.
