At present, educational institutions need to incorporate transformational leadership within their educational management to meet their established objectives, this article had as a general objective: to determine the importance of transformational leadership in educational management, being a study with a selection methodology of articles related to the research topic, whose results are devoted to the review of 20 scientific and review articles which were selected from indexed journals from databases such as Scopus and Academic Google whose antiquity was of the 2017 to 2021, concluding that transformational leadership allows the adequate fulfillment of the activities assigned in the educational management of the school, similarly in the role of collaborators; in addition, educational management encompasses all processes focused on directing, organizing and controlling the resources of the institution, being necessary that they have transformational leadership as a basis.
