ZAZUETA BELTRAN, Héctor; MILLAN LOPEZ, Nora; CASTRO PEREZ, Rafael y DIAZ LLORCA, Carlos. Work Values Related to Hiring on Staff in Culiacan Enterprises. Cofin [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.1, pp. 164-176. ISSN 2073-6061.
In order to carry out this research, 73 Human Resources managers from outstanding enterprises from Culiacán, Sinaloa, México, were interviewed. According to Rokeach (1973), Zazueta Beltrán and Arciniega Ruiz from Esparza (2010), a questionnaire was designed for identifying values of the managers and heads of departments who already work in the surveyed institutions, as well as the values they look for in the new employees. Results showed the most outstanding values for the enterprises when hiring personnel. Besides, there is a moderate disruption between the values practiced by managers and chiefs and the values the institution wants in its new employees.
Palabras clave : Person-organization adjustment; Human resources; values in the work.
