Cervical cancer is one of the most prevalent and deadly diseases among Ecuadorian women. Countless resources are provided by health institutions, patients themselves, their relatives and non-profit institutions treating this disease. However, the exact activities related to their non-health value chain are not known. This design will allow efficient use of resources by social agencies that support treatment, and policy design by the State to alleviate the economic burden of families caring for these patients. Diverse research methods and techniques were used to reach the proposed objective.
