Since the end of the 20 th century, higher education, in its regional and world conferences, has proposed achieving regional integration with student mobility policies and the recognition of studies, degrees and diplomas. Undergraduate professional training guarantees the comprehensive preparation of university students in order to achieve professionals who can perform successfully in the various sectors of the economy and society in general. Cuban higher education has set itself the challenge of implementing a system of academic credits in undergraduate professional training. This article aims to evaluate the current state of undergraduate professional training at the University of Havana to implement a system of academic credits in the «E» study plan.
