At the University of Cienfuegos, professors take an Education Degree in the Biology-chemistry specialty. A fundamental tool in the all- round preparation of the students of this specialty is it the practical-experimental work. In this sense, a pedagogic experience from the Didactic discipline of the Chemistry, based on the methodological treatment of the educational chemical experiment was applied in the course 2013-2014 to contribute to the development of technical and professional abilities in the students. This methodological treatment is applicable to different variants as demonstration, the experiment of classes, the laboratory practice and the application of the technical semimicro and it has three stages: theoretical preparation, preparation of the practical conditions and development of the class. The employment of the experiment with pedagogical ends, is a road to reach the objectives proposed in the professional's pattern.

Palabras clave : Chemical teaching experiment; ability to model; methodological approach; ways of pedagogic professional performance.
