The interactive conditions of society and environment depend on the human beings' positioning’s, since their performance is fundamental in the consequences of these and therefore in forms of sustainable development that become improvements of the quality of life. In the last years the deterioration of the environment has been characterized by a quick, growing rhythm and of global reach, reason so that a culture guided to the conservation of this it is presented like demand of an effective education. On this base it constitutes priority the presence of the topic in the pedagogic work of the universities in their formation processes and toward the community environment, in function of contributing to the social change with their actors' intervention, for a construction participative, conscious and protagonist of the human behavior in front of the environment. This work goes to theoretical reflections that are revealed, like guide to understand the necessity of individual, organizational and community changes, and forms of knowledge guided to favor an education environmental participative that takes into account the control of situations of life, strengths, potentialities and taxpaying opportunities to promote the wanted cultural change and with it the solution of local environmental problems.
