The article analyzes the business competitiveness as a strategic factor of the Small and medium enterprises in their economic development Considering that quality is a form of management in companies that want their internal and external improvement in their activities, always taking into account the client as the main objective, in search of satisfying their needs and more reliable expectations, using different resources such as human, technological, productive among others. Bearing in mind that the SMEs have become in the last 10 years in the economic bundle that gives more contributions to the economy in Latin America due to its excessive growth and evolution, it is necessary to research this variable which to a large extent allows a better functioning of them and promotes better development scenarios.
