NELITO MATEUS, João y MUNOZ CHAVEZ, Aída. Accounting Facts and their Repercussion in Micro and Small Companies. Case study: municipality of Cazengo, province of Cuanza Norte, Angola. Rev retos [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.2, pp. 274-289. ISSN 2306-9155.
The importance of accounting events in micro and small companies in Angola is presented in this paper following a study conducted in the municipality of Cazengo, province of Cuanza Norte. Fifty companies were chosen from a total of 63 micro and small businesses. Non-probability sampling with intentional manipulation and easy-access were used. Additionally, a survey was made, and the data were processed with SPSS, 18.0, for Windows. Field research revealed the accounting causes that make companies move straight from the first to the last stage (decline) of their life cycles. Several reasons were determined, like the absence of factual accounting in the company, which may assist in controlling and decision-making.
