At present, it is necessary the use of technologies to support distance learning. In subjects that demand the development of experimental skills, it implies a challenge from the didactic point of view. This paper is aimed at presenting a didactic experience for achieving the development of laboratory practices in Physics by using the possibilities offered by the Moodle platform. The pedagogical conception followed in the experience favors the combination of activities and resources on the platform to facilitate the collaborative learning with the purpose of incorporating in the Physics teaching-learning process some elements of the socio- cultural approach to guarantee critical group discussions among students themselves as well as among the students and the professor. Preliminary results were obtained through the partial implementation of this conception in two laboratory practices with three groups of students (130) including the real experiment, the experimental data processing and the report of the results to fulfill the objectives of the subject program.
