This paper present other part of the extensive experimental campaign by physical model in order to obtain an effective solution to reduce the wave overtopping in the Malecón traditional. It was determined the wave overtopping rate for the current situation and for two typologies of seawalls and seawalls combined with berms. It presents a comparative study, taking into account the alternative fulfill the admissible rate of 50 L/ms as project restriction. The testes confirm that the combination of the seawall and berm has the best results for the wave and water level studies conditions, and for the technical restrictions.
