Anal trauma is considered a low frequency trauma because it is associated with rectal trauma in statistical records. The surgical approach should be taken into account because some sequelae affecting in a very important way the future quality of life of patients may occur. A case of blunt anal trauma and the emergency management indicated were presented in this report.
