An educational intervention to modify the knowledge of 22 relatives of boys and girls with disorders due to attention deficit, with hyperactivity or not, who attended the Psychopedagogy consulting room from "Dr. Juan of the Cruz Martínez Maceira" Northern Children Hospital in Santiago de Cuba was carried out from January tol May, 2009, with the purpose that they acquire appropriate educational conduction styles to understand and control those children. The medical records of these children were reviewed and the interview and test of family performance FF-SILL were applied to the parents. The design of the educational activity comprised 8 weekly working sessions, with 50 to 60 minutes duration each, during which participating, control and evaluation techniques were used. The results of the study were the expected ones in general sense, from which it is infered that it would be very beneficial to extend this teaching-learning modality to all the families which are in that situation and to the school environments.
