Both groups were comprised of 12 cases and 45 controls, more than two controls by case. An oral examination was carried out and the variables as age, sex, number of teeth affected and type of trauma according to the clinical characteristics were measured. Data were shown in pictures and processed using the Odd ratio and Chi square method resulting in a higher incidence in 10 and 14 year old child group, being the superior central incisor the most affected teeth and the non complicated crown fracture was the more frequent trauma.
