Dear Readers:

The III International Scientific Congress of Research and Development Uniandes Ibarra-Tulcán 2023 was an event of great relevance in the academic field, organized by the Universidad Regional Autónoma de Los Andes, Ecuador, in cooperation with the Latin American Association of Neutrosophic Sciences. The congress was held from April 24 to 28, 2023, in an effort to foster international exchange, encourage cooperation and promote debate on research as a way to solve problems of societal development.

The main objective of this congress was to create a space for the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge, as well as to facilitate the exchange of ideas among professionals and researchers from different disciplines. To achieve this purpose, researchers and academics from Ecuador, Argentina, Cuba, Spain, the United States, Mexico and Peru participated.

During the event, several activities were carried out, among which the keynote lectures given by distinguished speakers from the United States and Cuba stood out. These experts addressed cutting-edge topics in their respective areas of knowledge, providing an updated and enriching vision for those attending the congress.

The papers presented covered a wide range of topics, reflecting the diversity of interests and lines of research of the participants. From exact and natural sciences to social sciences and humanities, different approaches and methodologies were explored to address issues relevant to the development of society.

In addition to the lectures and presentations, the congress offered spaces for debate and discussion. These activities allowed for an interactive dialogue among attendees, fostering the exchange of ideas and the generation of future collaborations.

It is worth mentioning the important role played by the Universidad Regional Autónoma de Los Andes, as well as by the collaborating institutions, in the organization and development of this event. Their commitment to the promotion of research and academic exchange was evidenced in the quality and diversity of the proposals presented, as well as in the wide participation both nationally and internationally. For this reason, we would like to thank its organizing committee and scientific committee:

The participation of speakers from several countries enriched the academic exchange, due to the diversity of approaches and experiences. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about research from different contexts and establish collaborative networks.

From scientific advances in areas such as medicine, biology and physics, to research in social sciences, education and technology, various disciplines were explored with the aim of contributing to the development of society.

In summary, the III International Scientific Congress on Research and Development Uniandes Ibarra-Tulcan 2023 was an enriching meeting, which promoted international exchange, cooperation and debate on research as a way to address the challenges of societal development. This congress left a significant mark on the scientific community and laid the groundwork for future advances in research and development.
