Using the Information Technologies has become a powerful tool for teachers to direct the teaching-learning process, as they have become popular among the youngsters of this new century. The prevailing epidemiological situation fostered distance education and self-learning. Hence, it is necessary that teachers and students develop technological competences to exchange and develop properly the aforementioned process. This work aims at presenting an experience regarding the use of Hot Potatoes in the English teacher training process. Methods such as analysis-synthesis, partial introduction into practice, survey, and the statistical data processing allowed assessing the impact of the use of technologies in the aforementioned process.
