In order to develop the teaching-learning process, we must start from the didactic act, a word that refers to the activities related to teaching and learning. This is why didactics is defined as the art of teaching. This article proposes a method for project-based learning in seventh grade students of Secondary Basic Education in Ecuador. It is based on project-based learning and the professional learning method for the training of workers. Its novelty lies in the integration of theory with community work and the work market. Qualitative research was carried out based on the use of the following methods: analysis, synthesis, document review and the systemic approach. It can be generalized to any educational entity of secondary level in Ecuador with flexibility and adaptability to the formative context of the secondary student.
