Objective:
The study aims at analyzing the impact level of the implementation of the 720 practicum model in the professional development of 2014 cohort graduates of ISA University, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
Methods:
The research was governed under a quantitative approach, due to the way in which the data were collected (data tables, rubrics, observation guides and others), and the way in which the results of the different specific objectives were analyzed (graphs and descriptive statistics). The method used was the narrative, with a non-experimental transactional design.
Results:
The model was beneficial for all practitioners, because they were given the opportunity to experiment within the classroom in real time and with real students.
Conclusions:
From the model used, the practitioners acquired a higher level of autonomy, leadership, knew and used new methodologies, techniques and teaching-learning strategies, they acquired better stage mastery, development and management of their emotions.
