The objective of the present study is to know and to understand the reality of family’s mediation in the interaction of children with infocommunication media within the family context. Recent researches confirm that the rapid advance and spread of technology stimulates the development of abilities in children that surpass the lessons taught at school. In addition, an epistemic analysis of the evolution of family’s mediation is carried out, which facilitates the understanding of how this scientific category has been approached in previous researches.
