A descriptive analysis of the level of knowledge about doping that have those responsible and beneficiaries of community gyms in Cienfuegos municipality is carried out in this work. For that, we worked on six of these locations. In the sports facilities sanitary conditions were observed, the methods used for the practice of physical activity and also evaluated the level of knowledge about doping of the perpetrators and beneficiaries of such centers. With this goal interviewed verbal and closed shape all those responsible, and surveys forty-two recipients were applied, resulting in a level of knowledge on the subject of doping rather poor, specifically in the case of harmful effects these substances where fifty percent of the managers and thirty-three percent of the beneficiaries are not clearly recognize the harmful effects of doping. It concludes that an approach that preventive educational program on the process characteristics of physical improvement in community gyms and the danger of the use of performance-enhancing drugs is necessary.
