A research was carried out with a non-experimental design of longitudinal trend and panel type to determine the behavior that comes with the fleet aging of the degree of readiness and fuel consumption indicators. The results of the case National Buses Company of the city of Cienfuegos are presented. Using the existing daily database on the operation (31 Yutong buses) in the last ten years and with the help of the statistical package SPSS, it was possible to demonstrate the tendency to decrease of the readiness, availability and rate use with the aging of the bus fleet and the increase of the fuel consumption indicators.
