MORALES ROMERO, Eleazar; ALARCON BARBAN, Enier; LEON DE LA O, Dulce María e GARCIA RODRIGUEZ, Ana Marys. Digital Transformation and its limitations in the technological dimension: a systematic review. RCCI [online]. 2023, vol.17, n.4 Epub 01-Dez-2023. ISSN 2227-1899.
Digital Transformation is a maturity process that combines all the factors of an organization to make it more competitive in an increasingly digital reality. The use of technology favors the development of this process and the transfer of information. This study aims to identify the limitations of technologies in the digital transformation of organizations through the use of their digital ecosystem. This research is approached as a systematic review based on the Kitchenham methodology between January 2017 and December 2022. In the study, after applying the various inclusion criteria in 117 references, 87 studies from the last six years and from them 21 primary studies were finally obtained for analysis. Among the methods used for the development of the research are the historical-logical, induction-deduction and documentary analysis. The main result of this systematic review identifies some limiting factors of technology within the Digital Transformation assumed in organizations. This knowledge is necessary in the implementation of Digital Transformation as a key to commercial or financial success, or depending on the social function of those who face the transformation.
