RIVERO AMADOR, Soleidy; LOPEZ-HUERTAS, José  e  PEREZ DIAZ, Maidelyn. Interdisciplinarity of science and knowledge organization in curricular information management systems. Rev. cuba. inf. cienc. salud [online]. 2013, vol.24, n.3, pp. 354-367. ISSN 2307-2113.

Curricular information systems have become valuable tools to obtain knowledge measurement indicators resulting from the different scientific activities, for they make it possible to describe interdisciplinary behavior and its influence upon knowledge organization at the institution or region where they are applied. The impressive regional and interinstitutional experiences in this field have laid the foundations for knowledge organization and the development of standardized, far-reaching indicators. The present research deeply explores into these matters with the purpose of demonstrating the interdisciplinarity of science and its influence upon knowledge organization in this type of system. Generally speaking, knowledge organization is presented in interaction with the development, application and analysis of measurement indicators allowing to visualize the interdisciplinarity of knowledge.

Palavras-chave : interdisciplinarity; curricular information systems; curriculum vitae; science and technology indicators.
