Today in Ecuador, there are several factors disturbing children and young people affective behavior, among themchild abuse, split couples, and multiple-caused abandonment -including migration-. Children care is passed to people that are not prepared to meet the challenge or simply take them out of obligation rather than conviction. The role of emotion in the individual's development has been studied by different researchers; accordingly, this study aims at constructing an educational model that clarify the relation and synergy between prevention, family development and family education oriented affective behavior. The study was completed by doing surveys, observation, andreference reviewing. The objective is to back up the family education model proposed to face affective behavior problems in schools and other educational environments.
